Fayetteville infill threatens watershed

Tiny infill lot in the flood plain of Spout Spring Branch in Fayetteville can increase downstream flooding and siltation all the way to Beaver Lake! Urban infill damages watershed one square foot at a time.

Video with downstream neighbor of single-family floodplain house.

Photos of work beginning March 15, 2013. Note the deep, rich, dark organic soil that historically allowed rain to soak in and prevented runoff from the formerly fully vegetated riparian parcel.
